Welding process of wear-resisting steel plate
Key points of welding process
(1) Preheating measures are taken before welding to ensure that the preheating temperature of steel plate ≥200℃.
(2) Before welding, Hardox400 or XAR400 wear-resistant plate should clean up the groove and oil, rust and other dirt within the range of 30~50 mm from both sides of the groove.
(3) It is recommended to use low hydrogen and ultra-low hydrogen welding materials for welding materials. Solid wire is recommended for CO2 welding. Low temperature cracks (hydrogen - induced cracks) are less likely to occur in welding materials with low strength levels.
(4) Manual arc welding electrode for 350 ℃ drying, drying temperature reaches 1~2 h, as needed.
(5) In the welding process, control the temperature between welding layers ≥200℃.
(6) After welding, the welding seam of NM500 wear-resistant plate takes asbestos insulation, so that it is slowly cooled.
